Saw Allan Geering this afternoon. Had operation on Thursday and hopes to be out on Monday. After wound heals he will be back for Radiotherapy He loked really well and was up and dressed with no plastic tubes sticking out of him when I left him. Thats why he was smiling... because I departed! I'm sure we all wish him a speedy recovery and back on his Ducati soon. Remember to keep the rubber on the road. Dan.

As Dan has said , I did eventually get out of the bl**dy hospital on Monday and am home for a bit of an unpredictable recovery period which is likely to see me off the bike (and possibly the car) this summer but hopefully back for a late season ride.

I would like to thank the Committee for their card on behalf of themselves and those in the club who know me , it was very welcome alongwith the individual cards and visits from other friends.

I had to have a lump removed from within my chest alongwith some other associated tissue which went very well and did not require the additional surgery that was a possibility.
I have a few weeks recovery for the wound to heal , hopefuly the positive result of some post-operative scans in due course before commencing several weeks of daily Radiotherapy treatments.

I would welcome any visitors from those who know me and are inclined to make the trek north and can even put the kettle on......
But do send me a PM if you intend visiting to make sure I will not be away at the clinic in view of the distance involved.
