PostSubject: Fyvie & chips?   Sun Aug 16, 2009 7:29 pm

This week's run (on Wednesday 19th Aug) is route 21 stopping at Fyvie. Handy for a loo break. When we stopped there last time they were just closing their chipper and I asked if they would be willing to stay on 10 mins or so for us to get a bag of chips next time. They seemed keen. If enough folk are interested I could phone in advance to give them a rough idea of numbers and see if they would be as helpful this year.
If interested can you put a note of interest (not a firm commitment!) on the forum here please? Or e-mail me. We'd still be going back to the Red Star for tea & coffee.

Hi Diane

Chips sounds like a great idea. Count me in.

Do you get your chips in a pink bag?

Dave

As self-proclaimed Secretary Extrodinaire even chips in a pink bag can be arranged!!!
I'll have to have a run out and make sure they are still on the go.
And yes, Amanda, it would be lovely to meet you. Last year I think we got there about 8pm.

I'll be on the run and wouldn't say no to a bag of chips with lots of salt and vinegar - also some fizzy pop!

Just phoned the Sheiling Tor at Fyvie and it's not a problem. They close at 9pm. I'll get a rough idea of numbers at the start and phone through so they are organised for us. Lots of fizzy drinks also available Phil. Amanda, are you going to meet us there?

Hi Diane,

Don's back - Yeahhhh!!! cheers
We'll be there for the run and the Chips and I'd like a Pink Bag too.
And fizzy pop for me too Phil...

No need to hunt for the Busa keys then Richard, shame - I fancied giving it a go lol!

See you all tonight

I'm sorry I missed it now. Had a load of work to catch up on and couldn't get out in time to even meet you all at Fyvie Sad

I'd memorised the route the night before and everything. Bloody schoolkids!
