| Ride out, Sothern loop. Leaving Kingwells P&R at 10:30, then Garlogie - Flora's - Crathes, where we will pick up anyone wanting to meet in the green garage just after the A93/Slug junction around 11:00. Rickarton - back road to Auchenblae - A90 - Stracathro(fuel/coffee) - Brechin - A92 - Dundee, Kingsway - Couper Angus - Blairgowrie - Kirriemuir(icecream stop) - Edzell - Cairn - Banchory - Home. Post below if you plan on joining the run at the green garage on the Slug Road.

The plan for Sunday's run is that I will lead the run as far as Stracathro and John Alexander will lead the rest. I will be taking a shortcut home, probably from around Couper Angus, and various other shortcuts are available for those who do not want to do the whole run. The weather currently is for "light rain" so we'll see on the day. Remember too that the clocks change on Sunday (go back one hour). See you on Sunday?? Ian.

No probs, I'm debating going to the green garage, but will more than likely meet everyone at Stracathro since I'm in Brechin anyways. Thats providing the gods give us a bit of a break with the weather... Cheers Col

Congrats John - now active on the forum. Must have paid your phone bill then!! You're right, the weather forecast for tomorrow has improved, so good luck with it. James and I won't be going, too much stuff on the roads after the flooding and I've got masses of things I should have done during the holidays to cram into tomorrow. Hope it goes well for you all.

I agree with Col. I arrived home dry and feeling well satisfied with the both the run and the company. The smaller group is handy for not swamping refreshment stops. The trip over the Cairn o' Mount (road closed!) was especially enjoyable with no one coming the other way (bit like the Balcony on Snaefell during TT week without the worry of getting carved up on both sides!) and John's decision making at junctions spot on. Besides this being the last run of the season, it is also the last run I will be responsible for coordinating as "Events co-ordinator (Non social)" as I intend to stand down from the committee at the next AGM. In the meantime I will be helping to plan 2010's activities with whoever takes over my role. Thanks John for a fine day out, Ian.
