Trying to cut down on the fags so it was good for me HA HA !

Cheers

Well, I for one had a good day out. Thanks for volunteering to lead it and putting up well with 16 or so grumpy old gits (self included, ladies excepted). It's not so easy when the group is so large and I was surprised how long fuelling/feeding takes just because of the numbers. (nine or so is my max to date)

Personally I like the single trackers as they are an essential skill to be learned if travelling adventurously in Scotland and we did not do the worst of the single trackers yesterday as the road along the south side of Loch Tay and over to Amulree is worse - ask Diane!

As for the somkers - maybe they should follow Barry Sheene's example and drill a hole in the chinpiece of their helmets so they can somke on the move?

Thanks again for leading - hope you'll do some more - Ian.

A long run is what I needed to further assess the new bike. Still struggling with throttle control and this then causing erratic lines on more than a few corners !

A special plea from the petrol station at Pitlochry - with so many of us fueling up at the same time, I was asked to remind club members to note not only the pump number used but also the cost of fuel for each rider. Cliff was in front of me and doesn't know that he paid for my fuel !! (I owe you £1.00)

Well another great day out with the GMC and more miles and experience gained.

Glen Lyon was more of a pussy cat (purr) than a roar !!!!!!
